• Sierra Angels
  
  Established in 1997, making it one of the longest-running angel groups, Sierra Angels meets on the shore of Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nevada, Member families hail from the Reno/Tahoe area, the Bay Area, Las Vegas, the Mountain West, and throughout the US.  Sierra Angels is member of the InSync and Angel Syndication Networks (ASN) and members are happy to lead and share deals or due diligence or both, and to invest in outside deals.

• StartUpNV
  
  Established in 2017, StartUpNV is a grant-funded educational and economic development non-profit umbrella based in Las Vegas with offices in Reno and programs throughout the state.
  
  StartUpNV’s four associated for-profit venture and angel programs began in 2021 consisting of the following: FundNV, AngelNV, the 1864 Fund, and a 300+ person syndicate to lead deals, fund founders, and invest in other deals surfaced by StartUpNV and others in Nevada and the Mountain West. As part of StartUpNV’s educational focus, AngelNV teaches new investors to find, evaluate, and conduct due diligence to support win-win investments. Its fund and syndicate deals are welcome to outside investors under terms and conditions. The State of Nevada matches StartUpNV Nevada-based investments 1:1. Since 2021, StartUpNV’s funds and syndicates have looked at more than 3000 deals, funded 30 in 19 startups, investing $9.2M – with a June 2024 valuation of $25.4 MM.
